A population is the number of a group or type of people living in a place.
There are up to 7.71 billion people (numbers still increasing) in the world. There are 63.1 white people and 42 million black people in the world. Also, did you know that from the 7.53 billion, there are presently 1.9 billion children, 3.77 billion men and 3.71 billion women all increasing daily?
Population of Continents
The current population of Africa is 1,318,717,841 while the current population of Europe is 747,328,003. The current population of Asia is 4,614,795,098. Australia’s population today is roughly 24million. The current population of Northern America is 367,363,1308. South America is 428,384,553. Furthermore, Antarctica has a population of 1000 during summer and 200 during winter.
People’s Jobs
According to research, 70 per cent of people in the world are working. According to a report by VOA (Voice of America, “Slightly more than 172 million people globally were unemployed in 2018. That is about 2 million less than the previous year 2017.”
People’s Food
You can find yams, plantains, green bananas and cassava in Africa. These vegetables are grown and used everywhere in Africa.
