A long time ago, there was an old woman named Mobola. Mobola was a very wicked old woman in Kere. She had a pet named Anta and Anta was a spider. Mobola was wicked to the villagers and to Anta. She poisoned the river so that the villagers wouldn’t drink water.
Anta was playing with Mobola’s wand, then suddenly the wand mistakenly fell off the table. When he tried to put the wand back on the table, it started floating in the air. Then, he heard loud footsteps, he knew it was Mobola coming.
She asked, “Why is my wand floating?” In the past the wand was allowed to fall down once, and this is an opportunity for the owner to make a wish. Anta started to think about what to wish and then Mobola turned into a hen, while Anta became a big spider. He went to the river and threw the wand inside the river, so Mobola never got to see the wand again.
Anta also wished that the water was no longer poisoned. “What do I do with Mobola?” He threw her far, far away, that she would never be able to return to the village.
And they lived happily ever after in Kere.
