The intent of Jordan Hill Creative Writing & Reading Workshop is

• to inspire children to become life-long readers and learners by encouraging them to read during non-instructional time
• to emulate the examples of great authors by composing their own written work
• to give them a chance to participate in writing activities with their peers
• to build confidence in the writing process
• to develop as lifetime scholars who are self-motivated to read, study, write and enrich their families and communities.
