Position: Online Tutor (Mathematics, Literacy – Reading & Creative Writing, Science)
Type: Part-time, After School and Weekends

About the Programme

Our online classes aim to equip students aged 5–14 with essential reading, writing, and math skills to excel in exams and beyond.

We’re seeking dynamic, committed tutors who are passionate about teaching and supporting students in an engaging online setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons via Google Meet
  • Follow provided curriculum and lesson plans, while adapting to students’ needs
  • Provide constructive feedback and encourage active participation
  • Track student progress and submit brief session reports
  • Collaborate with programme coordinators and attend short team check-ins

Qualifications

  • Degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience (online preferred).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills in a virtual environment.
  • Comfort with digital tools (Google Meet, Google Docs, interactive whiteboards)
  • Ability to have effective one-on-one classes/group classes.
  • Passion for student growth and education equity.

 

Desirable

  • Familiarity with exam-style questions or creative writing workshops

 

Requirement

  • Functional laptop/PC (Phones and tablets not allowed)
  • Good power supply
  • Quiet environment and free from distraction
  • Effective network connectivity
  • Availability to work with different time zones e.g. Canada, America etc.
  • Be available to resume from Monday 5th January 2026.

 

Remuneration

Competitive hourly rate, based on experience

Demo Lesson Submission

• Please record a 5–10 minute video of yourself teaching a concept of your choice. Upload the video to Google Drive or YouTube and include the shareable link in the application form
