An animal is a living organism that can move about on its own and has specialised sense organs and nervous system. There are different types of animals that most of us see on a daily basis.

LAND ANIMALS

Land animals are animals that live on land. All land animals have an organ called the lungs. Lungs are used so people can breathe on land. Land animals also have body parts called the legs and arms. Legs are used to move around while arms are used to carry or move stuff. Some examples of land animals are:

SEA ANIMALS

Sea animals are animals that live and spend most of their time in water. Most sea animals have an organ called gills to help them breathe in water. Other sea animals that don’t have gills have lungs because they can stay in water for a long time but can’t stay in there forever. Sea animals all have body parts called fins and tail. The tail helps fish move up from the ground. Fins help them move from side to side. Some examples of sea animals

SKY ANIMALS

Sky animals are animals that spend most of their time in the sky but do not live there, no animal can live in the sky.

All sky animals have lungs because even though they are in the air, there is still oxygen up there. Sky animals also have a body part called wings to help them to move around and it pushes them high from the ground. Some examples of sky animals are:

ARE SOME ANIMALS DANGEROUS?

Yes. Some animals are dangerous. Those animals are called wild animals. Wild animals are mostly carnivorous animals.

Carnivorous animals are animals that only eat meat. Most of the dangerous animals are either poisonous or have large teeth or claws. Some examples of dangerous animals are

CAN YOU KEEP ANIMALS?

Yes, you can keep some animals. The name of the animals you can keep are called domestic animals. Domestic animals are normally harmless. You can even keep wild animals, but they have to be trained. Some examples of domestic animals are:

Hopefully from all that I have said, you now know more about animals and how the different kind of animals survive, as well as which animals live. Also, from this, I hope you will be cautious around some animals to keep safe. And, do at least get an animal as a pet.
