When we write, we write in sentences. Beginning with a capital letter, we wind our way over words and phrases until we’ve expressed a complete thought, and then we mark the endpoint with a period, question mark, or exclamation mark.

Readers read the same way: they follow the shape of each sentence from beginning to end, trying to understand the single complete thought the writer is expressing. For readers to do that, your writing needs to flow smoothly from word to word, phrase to phrase, and sentence to sentence.

The ‘Unleash Your Writing Genius’ is a 4-Day Mentoring Workshop for Teens aged 9 – 15, to inspire a love for writing in the youths of today and to equip them with tools to become better writers. Participants will understand why writing effectively is important to success in life, what they need to write better, and how to improve their writing skills. Participants will learn how to use WRITING CONVENTIONS appropriately, CREATE SMOOTH AND EXPRESSIVE SENTENCES that will convey the intended message effectively in WELL-DEVELOPED PARAGRAPHS.

The workshop is exclusive to the first fifteen registered participants at a fee of ₦30,000, payable to Jordan Hill Creative Writing & Reading Workshop
