The Big Friendly Dragon

There once lived a little nine-year-old girl with her parents in space. She was called Mya. One evening, she was flying in space looking at the universe. Then, it became dark and she had to sleep in the air for the night.

She was awoken by a Dragon who threw its ship down into the universe

“Urgh—urgh.” Mya coughed, gasping in fear.

Mya’s parents wanted to go and find out what had happened. But Mya was scared. “Mum, dad… no don’t go!” Mya cried. All of a sudden, she heard a large thud “Bang! Bang!” Mya ran back into the plane that was their home and which flew across the universe. Then, she saw a big eye peeking in. “Ahhhhhhh!” Mya exclaimed, frightened.She ran out back into space.

Mya ran and ran.She looked behind her and realised she was in Dragonland. Mya fell and the Dragon intercepted her. Mya looked over his shoulders and realised he had crashed the aircraft that Mya was in and killed her parent. Mya started to cry loudly. Dragon was sad. “I did not do that. It wasn’t me. It was the evil dragon master.”

He appeared to Mya like he was nice so they began to talk “I’m Mya.” said Mya.

 “I’m Roger.”added the Dragonin a loud voice.He was all orange and pink and had a round face. He seemed super nice at the time. So, they became friends.

Mya wanted to meet the other Dragons so she could find the one that killed her parents. She asked Roger nicely to take her to them. But Roger said that they would kill them both.

“They will not!” replied Mya.

“Ok, but don’t say I didn’t tell you so.”Roger said.

They went in search of the other dragons deep in Dragonland. As soon as they got there, the other dragons were already ready to kill them. “No humans!” barked one of the dragons. Roger and Mya flew out immediately. They flew and flew away but the evil dragons shot at Roger and he went gliding down and down and down, but before he could touch the ground, Mya saved him. She gave him a slap and his eyes snapped open. Roger flew Mya back to her universe and went back to his home.
